Item Description
An very unusual and excellent CABINET specimen from a recent find at the famous Okorusu of Namibia. This specimen amply demonstrates the unusual variety of colors and color combinations from this well-known locale. The very 3-dimensional surface is covered with lustrous, transparent to translucent, color-zoned fluorite cubes to 1.7 cm. Some cubes have sea-green areas with variably shaded purple corners and edges. STRIKING! This showy piece is a curved crust of solid fluorite, with the inside of the crust being contacted, but damage-free. Pristine, only the edges have periphery wear. Choice, beautiful, large and uncommon material from this noted locale. Rich dark purple fluorescence. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
