Item Description
Coloradoite is a rare mercury telluride and is found in hydrothermal, tellurium bearing precious metal veins. This is a very rare and rich thumbnail specimen from this extremely obscure locality. Luminous bright bronze-yellow coloradoite plates nearly cover both sides of this outstanding rarity. Ex Fersman Mineralogical Musuem. Very rare material from this locality from a major rarities collection.
