Item Description
Coloradoite is a rare mercury telluride species, obviously named after the state in which is was first discovered. There are three mines Boulder County which are credited as the co-type localities for the species. This is a sawn specimen that features patches of iron-grey Coloradoite associated with minor metallic tin-white Altaite (a lead telluride species) in matrix. From the collection of Colin Manlove.
