A rare and striking fluorite varietal from the famous Erongo Mountains. Spinel-twinned fluorites are rare from the Erongos. A sharp, tabular, glassy spinel-twin, with lightly frosted faces has dramatic and unusual purple color-zoning. This fine piece has a rare, 1.8 cm, glassy quartz point embedded in one end! Complete all-around. Both ends are partially contacted, but there is very little actual damage. The base is contacted, but there are embedded muscovite books! Very rarely available in this style and quality. Ex Charlie Key dealer stock.
