A rare and striking fluorite varietal from the famous Erongo Mountains. Spinel-twinned fluorites are rare from the Erongos. A sharp, tabular, glassy/gemmy spinel-twin, with lightly frosted faces has dramatic and unusual purple color-zoning. This fine piece shows impressions, where tiny quartz crystals popped off on one side, adding character. Complete all-around. Both ends are partially contacted, but there is very little actual damage. The base is also contacted. Very rarely available in this style and quality. Faint purple fluorescence. Ex Charlie Key dealer stock.
