Item Description
An very unusual and excellent specimen from a recent find at the famous Okorusu of Namibia. This specimen amply demonstrates the unusual variety of colors and color combinations from this well-known locale. Intergrown, lustrous, transparent to translucent, color-zoned fluorite cubes to 2.0 cm compose this colorful plate. The cubes are golden-yellow and have variably shaded purple to cranberry-red corners and edges. STRIKING! This showy piece is a crust of solid fluorite, with the back of the crust being contacted, but damage-free. Pristine, only the edges have periphery wear. Choice, beautiful and uncommon material from this noted locale. Rich dark purple fluorescence. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
