Item Description

An adorable miniature cluster of aesthetically intergrown, water-clear gem to translucent, color-zoned fluorite cubes from the prolific and famous Yaogangxian Mine. The very glassy and lustrous light blue cubes, to 2.2 cm, are dramatically enhanced with narrow, dark purple edge phantoms. Purple LW UV fluorescence. Yaogangxian has produced a wide variety of world-class mineral species, including fluorite. See the 2011 article in the Mineralogical Record China-III, Special Issue, Vol. 42, No. 6. A classic, elegant and excellent miniature example of this varietal.
