Item Description
Very pretty, color-zoned, purple fluorite cubes are richly and aesthetically scattered on the sculptural matrix on this very showy and excellent specimen from a BRAND NEW find at the famous Mina Ojuela. The fluorite cubes, to 1.0 cm, are transparent, highly lustrous and the crystal faces are lightly etched, giving the cubes a waxy luster. Scattered, modest bruising is noted, but has a minimal impact on the overall quality of this striking piece. The vivid purple color-zoning makes these highly attractive Mina Ojuela fluorites, that compare very favorably with those recovered from any era! This historic mine continues to amaze with new finds, such as the bi-pyramidal and psuedocubic wulfenite specimens. We were lucky to obtain a small lot in the last couple of months.
