Color-zoned Fluorite with Calcite (Schlichter Coll.)

Item Description

Glassy, transparent, light moss-green, color-zoned, fluorite cubes are aesthetically strung across the top of mounded matrix like wreath. Intergrown, glassy, colorless calcite rhombs preferentially and totally cover the back of the piece. The faces of the fluorite cubes are lightly frosted, but they are water-clear. A bit of periphery wear is certainly a minor detraction. Showy and excellent combination material from the Schlichter Collection. Excellent purple fluorescence!
