Item Description
Classic, highly desirable color-zoned blue-purple fluorite in association with barite on this outstanding small cabinet from the famous fluorite deposits at Berbes. The impressive stacked cluster of translucent fluorite cubes, to 2.6 cm at the top, feature classic blue and purple color-zoning with sharp purple edge phantoms and satin luster faces. The fluorite cluster is dramatically set amidst opposing parallel-growth clusters of ivory barite blades. Purple fluorescence. Comes with a custom-made and engraved lucite base valued at $175 for free. Ex Jim Boteler Fluorite Collection and valued at $1000. This is a very fine and sculptural small cabinet combination from this well-known locale.
