Item Description
This aesthetic and sculptural large cluster of intergrown rich purple, mostly opaque fluorite cubes with satin lustre frosted faces has two surprises: backlighting reveals lighter purple translucent edge phantoms; and the attachment on the back is covered with tiny rubyjack sphalerite crystals. The cubes reach 3.3 cm. The cubes in the interior are in good shape, with just a bit of corner and edge wear. The periphery wear is certainly only a modest detraction to this deceptive and excellent fluorite combination from the famous Denton Mine. Ex Ted Bartels Collection.
