Item Description

Amazing color-zoned fluorite cubes are festooned the large sculptural matrix plate accented with starkly contrasting creamy drusy quartz along one side. Stunning dark purple edge phantoms colorfully outline the starkly contrasting pretty light mint-green to nearly colorless translucent fluorite cubes with satin lustre faces. The shocking cubes reach 2.5 cm on edge. This is an outstanding example from a New Find at this well-known antimony-gold mine, which we cherrypicked when I was in China in last June. Specimens of this unique style have trickled out from the mine over the last 10 years, but never in any quantity or size like this, until this one pocket. Pristine, except for acceptable periphery wear at some edges. The well-prepared specimen has multiple display views. Purple fluorescence. A choice example from the small lot we just received.
