Item Description

The amber interior fluorite has a rich golden glow, when back lit, on this classic, colorful and showy color-zoned fluorite cube from the famed Minerva No. 1 Mine. Gorgeous and classic violet and sky-blue edge phantoms highlight the glassy transparent to translucent cube with dramatic stepped-growth satin lustre faces. UV lighting shows a striking bonus, as the amber fluorite is richly included with fluorescent hydrocarbons. Older material from the 1980s, 1982 until at least to 1986, when the Inverness Mining Company operated the mine (MINDAT). A showy, classic Minerva Mine fluorite combination.
