Intergrown color-zoned fluorite cubes make for a most colorful and sculptural large plate from the famous Denton Mine. The striking cubes have amber interiors and very interesting variable edge phantoms of sky-blue, violet and lavender, that impart impressive variable hues to the glassy, translucent cubes with bright satin lustre stepped-growth faces. The impressive large cube on the end is 4.2 cm on edge. Scattered tiny golden chalcopyrite sphenoids are a fine and typical accessory for Denton Mine fluorites. The sawed back REALLY enhances the glow of the cubes, when they are back lit. The interior is nearly pristine, with only a trivial bit of noted edge bruising to a few cubes. Classic and excellent large color-zoned Denton Mine fluorite with unusual variable edge phantoms. Valued at $1000.
