Item Description
A cute 1.8 cm doubly terminated straw-yellow calcite crystal accented with gemmy rubyjack sphalerites on the matrix are fine accessories to this aesthetically intergrown two-sided small cabinet cluster of fluorite cubes from the famous Denton Mine. The sharp cubes, to 3.0 cm, have interesting shimmering lustre, nubby faces, while others have a more matte smooth appearance. The cubes are mostly an opaque dark purple, but bright light shows these are color-zoned with translucent purple edge phantoms. A classic, fine and showy combination from the locale. Ex Ross Lillie Collection # 0766 and mined in January, 1988.
