Item Description
An aesthetically set diverging pair of brown calcite "feathers", to 1.8 cm, highlights this sculptural and unusual large color-zoned fluorite from Cave-in-Rock. The intergrown satin luster, amber cubes are translucent to transparent and are nicely accented with subtle blue edge phantoms. The impressive large cube at the top is 4.8. The STRANGE feature are the scattered circular etch pits on the cubes, which adds dramatic pizzazz. AND the fluorite is included with fluorescent yellow hydrocarbons, as a bonus! Choice and highly unusual fluorite from the Allen Dillwith Collection.
