Item Description
The rich preferential coating of gemmy dogtooth calcite crystals adds character to this sculptural small cabinet cluster of intergrown color-zoned fluorite cubes from the famous Minerva Mine. The gemmy to translucent cubes, to 4.0 cm, have amber interiors and beautiful contrasting water-clear, sky-blue edge phantoms. Glassy, highly lustrous crystals with interesting rippled faces, the thin layer to tiny chalcopyrite sphenoids at the color-zoned line and the yellow UV zoned hydrocarbon fluorescence with purple fluorite fluorescence, adds much pizzazz. This classic, showy and excellent combination has two fine display views. A wonderful, very interesting Minerva fluorite combination.
