Item Description

Mineral specimens of ANY TYPE are rare from this obscure Illinois fluorite mine. This is an attractive, 3-dimensional plate of pretty light purple, transparent fluorite cubes to 2.3 cm with yellow ineriors. The cubes have nifty, richer lilac edge phantoms. Very nearly pristine. The one spot of periphery wear is certainly a modest detraction. Modest purple and scattered yellow fluorescence. Showy, excellent and rare material from this mine. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection.
