Item Description
Intensely stepped-growth, glassy, translucent, intergrown color-zoned fluorite cubes form a striking, very near floater specimen from this well-known Mexican locale. The exterior is a pretty violet, with the interior being near colorless. The impressive, large central cube is 6.2 cm across. All sides of this sculptural piece have stepped-growth and there is only one point of attachment on a "wing". Nearly pristine, with only very trivial brusing. Classic and excellent old-time material from the Bob Trimingham Collection, acquired in 1973. No fluorescence.
