Color-zoned Fluorite & Quartz (New Find)

Fabulous dark purple edge phantoms dramatically outline the lighter colored, translucent fluorite cubes with satin lustre faces richly and attractively clustered on the impressive large combination plate with starkly contrasting spherical clusters of drusy quartz. The surreal cubes reach 1.8 cm on edge. This is an outstanding example from a New Find at this well-known antimony-gold mine. Specimens of this unique style have trickled out from the mine over the last 10 years, but never in any quantity. Pristine, except for the acceptable periphery wear. Purple fluorescence. A choice example from the small lot we just received.
