Item Description
A classic and very showy combination specimen from the famous and now-closed Elmwood Mine. Three, lustrous, translucent, fluorite cubes to 3.2 x 3.0 x 3.0 cm are aesthetically set on splendent, partially gemmy, rubyjack sphalerite crystals. The fluorites have intene, stepped-growth faces, giving a flashy, scintiallating look and classic, darker purple, edge phantoms surrounding the near-colorless cores. The striking large fluorite is complete and very nearly pristine, with only trivial cornerwear. Modest periphery wear is noted on the other two fluorite cubes. A very fine, older combination specimen from this noted locale, with top-flight gemmy sphalerites. MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
