Color-zoned Fluorite on Quartz (George Fisher Coll.)

A really nifty and aesthetic, color-zoned fluorite on quartz specimen from the well-known Colorado collection of George Fisher. The 1.1 x 0.9 x 0.9 cm, translucent, lustrous cube with lightly frosted faces is jauntily set atop a quartz crystal column and has striking, segmented, color-zoning caused by the multiple interior crazing planes. The purple, amber and sea foam-green zones are really segmented by the crazing. Very showy and fine material from this locale. The fluorite cube is complete all-around and pristine.
