Item Description

Sharp blue and yellow phantoms in the gemmy blue fluorite cubes with satin luster faces on this classic, very rich and showy large combination from this well-known French locale. The densely intergrown cubes reach 2.3 cm and rest on the starkly contrasting banded quartz matrix. The interior is in great shape overall, with only one partially cleaved cube noted left of the cube in the closeup photos. Rich purple LW UV fluorescence. This ancient fluorite mine operated from 1918 until 1948 and the adits were closed in 2000 (MINDAT). Ex Paul Zerfass Collection No. 69. Rich and excellent large material from the locale.
