Color-zoned Fluorite (New Find)

Item Description

An aesthetic plate of moderately lustrous, translucent, color-zoned, rich grape-purple, fluorite cubes form a striking CABINET specimen from a brand New Find from the much less well-known Esperanza Mine near Musquiz. The cubes are up to 4.4 cm wide. This showy and excellent piece is in good shape overall, with only modest periphery wear. Highly representative of this new find. Interestingly, this fluorite has very slight purple fluorescence. The rich purple color is off the charts! Illinois and Berbes fluorites cannot compare. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
