Item Description
A sculptural, aesthetic and rare pair of penetrating twinned, color-zoned fluorite cubes from the famous Denton Mine. The beautiful and sharp purple and blue color-zoned interiors are obscured by the lustrous frosted faces of the cubes, along with the peppering of tiny calcite crystals. Backlighting brings out the colors. Ex Ross Lillie Collection # 1259 and was collected during pillar robbing in July, 1994. As Ross writes on his card: "Fine penetrating twin in unusual color for twins; usually yellow or dark purple."
