Item Description
A large, 9.5 x 8.8 cm, color-zoned, fluorite cube is jauntily perched on a bed of smaller cubes on this striking CABINET specimen from Southern Illinois. The glassy, translucent, lightly frosted crystals have classic Minerva Mine color-zoning with pretty and sharp, zoned purple outsides surrounding amber cores. Yes, the huge crystal is a partial and some edgewear and cleaving are noted. This remains an impressive larger example of the species and noted locale. Ex Larry Krause dealer stock.
