A 5.6 x 5.3 x 4.5 cm, colored-zoned fluorite cube is jauntily attached to pegmatite matrix on this significant, large and excellent specimen from this well-known Colorado area. Crystals of this size are very uncommon from here. The lustrous, translucent, intensely stepped-growth cube has a sea-green interior, near colorless outer rind and striking rich purple coatings on one side. Modest purple fluorescence. Ex Bob Trimingham Collection and purchased in 1979. His label states "This is a fine specimen for this locale at this time." A MUST for the locality or species collector. Value??
