Color-zoned Fluorite (fluorescent) on Quartz (Sanabria Coll.)

Item Description

Lustrous, gem, fluorite cubes have sharp color-zoning and are aesthetically intergrown on the quartz shard. The cubes, to 2.8 cm, have dense stepped-growth frosted faces dramatically accented with fortification features. A few faces are class-clear revealing the interior gemminess. This is a beautiful and typical fluorite style and color from this famous Asturias mine. Purple fluorescence. Choice material from the Raul Sanabria Collection and obtained in October, 2002.
