Item Description
A beautiful, 2.3 x 1.7 x 1.3 cm, color-zoned fluorite cube is aesthetically set in a vug with smaller crystals in the sawed limestone matrix. The glassy, transparent to translucent cube has a pretty blush-purple interior with gorgeous, sharp, violet, edge phantoms. The crystal is pristine, except for where a bit of embedded limestone is noted on an edge. Fluorite specimens are RARE from this less well-known Ohio limestone quarry and this is a super example. Purple fluorescence. Ex Robert Nowakowski and Bob Trimingham Collections. A must for the species or locality collecter. It displays well from two sides without aid.
