Item Description
Striking and beautiful, color-zoned, purple fluorite cubes are dramatically scattered on the elongated matrix shard on this very fine miniature from the 2010 find at the famous Mina Ojuela. The fluorite cubes, to 1.0 cm, are transparent, highly lustrous and the crystal faces are lightly etched, giving the cubes a waxy luster. The cubes are pristine on this aesthetic two-sided piece. The pretty purple color-zoning makes these highly attractive Mina Ojuela fluorites, that compare very favorably with those recovered from any era! Ex Jason New Collection, who imported this small lot and a trim off of a larger piece. Faint dark red fluorescence.
