Item Description
A classic and beautiful, large color-zoned fluorite crystal from the famous Minerva #1 Mine of Illinois. The striking, sharp, blue and violet edge phantoms really accentuate the golden-amber interior of this glassy crystal with nifty stepped-growth and lightly frosted faces. The backlit photo really shows off the fabulous color zoning. A small ding on one edge is noted, along with a bit of very trivial edge wear. Excellent, dramatic and colorful large fluorite from this famous locale. Rich purple fluorescence. Ex Larry Krause dealer stock. Valued $500-700.
