Charismatic, highly unusual fluorite from this well-known French volcanic tuff quarry. One side is composed of striking intergrown, water-clear, colorless cubes to about 1.0 cm. Dramatically intergrown much larger cubes on the other side, to over 3.5 cm, have fantastic color-zoned clay inclusions. Purple fluorescence. Ex Allen Dillwith Collection of Texas and acquired in 2017. This is a RARE and striking style of fluorite from this locale with a myriad of display angles!
