Color-zoned Fluorite (fluorescent)

Item Description

Water-clear, gem, "green ice" fluorite cubes form a dramatic large two-sided mounded specimen from this noted locale. The densely intergrown, limpid, extremely glassy cubes, to 2.3 cm, have fine mint-green color and most of the cubes have striking, hard to photograph, cloudy white phantom cores or zoning. In excellent shape, overall, with trivial bruising up top and a bit of basal periphery wear. The piece looks great from either side. Rich purple fluorescence.
