A striking and beautiful, color-zoned fluorite cube from the famous Shangbao Mine. The 2.7 x 2.5 x 2.0 cm, gemmy, water-clear, sea-green fluorite cube with a swirled vivid purple interior is jauntily set on the wedge of matrix with smaller fluorites. The frosted/etched beveled edges, TV-like water-clear prism faces and frosted prism faces really add character to this classic Shangbao fluorite. A very fine, nearly pristine, 360-degree specimen with the cube having only very trivial side wear. Moderately common around 10 years ago, you do not see many on the market very often now.
