Item Description
Impressive, colorful and sculptural large fluorite from the famous Elmwood Mine. The color-zoned, translucent cubes, to 3.8 cm on edge, have rich blue interiors surrounded by striking purple edge phantoms. The satin lustre, stepped-growth faces add an additional element of charcter. Backlighting adds even more pizzazz, as numerous radiation spots are clearly visible and the color-zoning is more evident. Nearly pristine, with only a couple of gently bruised corners noted on the periphery. Very fine and recognizable Elmwood fluorite from Dr. Steve Neely Collection, a world-class collector and ultimate Elmwood specialist. It has two outstanding display views. Valued at $1250.
