Item Description
An aesthetic mound of highly lustrous, translucent, color-zoned, rich grape-purple, fluorite cubes forms a striking CABINET specimen from a recent find from the much less well-known Esperanza Mine near Musquiz. The cubes have very well developed stepped-growth faces. The striking large cube is 4.2 cm. This showy and excellent piece is very nearly pristine, with only very trivial edge and periphery wear. Highly representative of this new find. Interestingly, this fluorite has very slight purple fluorescence. The glassy luster and rich purple color are off the charts! Illinois and Berbes fluorites cannot compare. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON! From the noted Mexico Collection of Jason New.
