Item Description
This well-known closed fluorite mine is famous for beautiful color-zoned blue crystals and this is a fine example. The gem, very glassy beautiful rich teal-blue crystal has sharp phantoms and a yellowish-beige core. Parts of the top and left side faces are glass clear, with the rest of the faces being frosted. Fluorite of this rich blue quality competes with those from the Le Beix Mine. Purple fluorescence. Self-collected by Paul Zerfass. The cameras could not capture the true teal-blue or indicolite-blue color of the crystal. Classic Puy-de-Dome blue fluorite.
