Item Description
Striking, colorful and unusual color-zoned fluorite cubes from Eastgate, Weardale. The very glassy highly lustrous cubes, to 2.3 cm, have gem sea-green outer edges with fascinating purple interior phantoms and milky cloudy centers. Probably from the well-known extinct Blue Circle Cement Quarry. Rich purple fluorescence. MUCH better in person, the color variations, glassiness and lustre made photography difficult.
