Item Description
A rare color-zoned fluorite cube from the well-known fluorite mine at Valzerques, France. This mine is renowned for golden-amber or rich honey-colored fluorites, but VERY SELDOM do you see specimens like this with striking purple and blue color-zoning on the crystal faces and edges above the beautifull contrasting intense yellow core. The upper corner is super gemmy! Excellent purple fluorescence. Reminds me of some Southern Illinois fluorites. Classic, highly desirable and uncommon material. Ex Larry Krause Collection.
