Item Description
Glorious, rare, richly colored, color-zoned fluorite cubes from this historic old silver and cobalt mine, worked intermittently from the 1700s until after World War II for uranium (MINDAT). The glassy, transparent cubes, to 2.0 cm, are a striking rich golden-amber and are dramatically accented with purple phantoms. Scattered and strikingly embedded chalcopyrite crystals are a super accessory to this rich and sculptural mounded small cabinet. Moderate rich purple fluoresence. Fluorite specimens of this outstanding quality are rarely available. Ex Allen Dillwith Collection of Texas. Valued $750-1000.
