Item Description

A classic and beautiful, color-zoned fluorite crystal cluster from the famous Minerva #1 Mine of Illinois. The pretty purple edge phantoms really accentuate the golden-amber interiors on these glassy crystals with nifty stepped-growth faces. This striking specimen has several display possibilities, as you can see, to show off the fabulous color zoning. The large cube is 2.4 cm. The sprinkling of tiny chalcopyrite crystals is a nice accent. Nearly pristine, with only a bit of periphery wear in one spot. Ex Howard Belsky Collection. valued $750
