Item Description
A showy and excellent combination piece from the famed Elmwood Mine. Sharp, color-zoned, rich grape-purple fluorite cubes to 1.7 cm and bladed barite crystal clusters are aesthetically scattered on the lustrous, partially gemmy, rubyjack sphalerite matrix. The fluorites have very intense, stepped-growth faces, giving a flashy, scintillating look and classic, darker purple, edge phantoms surrounding the near-colorless cores. The primary cubes have only one very trivial, bruised corner. The periphery wear is noted, but it has only minimal impact on the fine displayability of this classic Elmwood combo. Older material from the Consie Prince Collection.
