Item Description
This is a classic Clay Center matrix specimen with the color-zoned fluorite cube, 3.3 x 2.6 2.5 cm, exhibiting a rich cognac color in the interior with near colorless edge phantoms and outstanding luster and gemminess. This piece is from the major finds a few years ago. It has fine display quality from multiple angles and the few celestine blades are a classic accent. The fluorite is nearly pristine, with only one gently bruised corner and a trivial bit of edge wear are noted. One end has been sawed to enhance the display quality. A highly representative, uncommon matrix example for the size. This is also highly fluorescent a ghostly white color under UV light.
