Color-zoned Fluorite (Alain Martaud Coll.)

Item Description

A pristine, striking and aesthetic cluster of ice-like, blue-gray, fluorite cubes from the less well-known Jaimina Mine of Asturias. The dramatic, large dominating cube is 4.0 x 3.8 cm and has pretty, light blue, color-zoning near the edges. This crystal is very large for the locale. From the collection of well-known French dealer and fluorite collector, Alain Martaud. Collected circa 1987, according to his label. A superb example, MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON.
