Item Description

Intergrown cubes of highly lustrous, translucent, color-zoned, purple fluorite form a showy and excellent small cabinet specimen from a recent find from the much less well-known Esperanza Mine near Musquiz. The cubes are up to 4.7 cm wide and they have very light stepped-growth faces, compared to most. This showy piece has only modest corner wear. A contact on the front is noted, but there is no damage, per se. Nearly a floater, as the entire back has super-intense stepped-growth. Very highly representative of this rect find. Interestingly, this fluorite has very slight purple fluorescence. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
