Item Description

Intergrown cubes of highly lustrous, translucent, color-zoned, purple fluorite with a colorless core form a striking CABINET specimen from a recent find from the much less well-known Esperanza Mine near Musquiz. The cubes are up to 4.3 cm wide and they have very well developed stepped-growth faces. This showy and excellent piece has only trivial corner wear and one spot of modest periphery wear on right side. Very highly representative of this new find. Interestingly, this fluorite has very slight purple fluorescence. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
