Item Description

Intergrown cubes of highly lustrous, translucent, color-zoned, purple fluorite form a striking specimen from a recent find from the much less well-known Esperanza Mine near Musquiz. The large cube is up to a large 8.0 cm on edge and they have very well developed stepped-growth faces. This showy and excellent piece is in great shape, with just one lightly bruised corner and a trivial bit of scattered side wear. Highly representative of this new find. Interestingly, this fluorite has very slight purple fluorescence. These GLOW a juicy, rich grape-purple, when backlit. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!
