Item Description

A classic and aesthetic combination thumbnail from the famous Auglaize Quarry of Ohio. The highly lustrous, transparent cube has intense, stepped-growth faces, giving a shimmering, scintillating look. The rich grape-purple interior is surrounded by colorless fluorite. One side is beautifully accented by both glassy and lustrous, calcite rhombs and a single scalenohedron. Nearly pristine, very modest edge contacting, with trival brusing is noted to the fluorite cube. Fine, older material from the E. Harrington Collection.
