Item Description
A classic, aesthetic and excellent fluorite crystal cluster from the famous and now-closed Elmwood Mine. The limpid, highly lustrous cubes, to 3.3 cm, are very pretty light purple and have striking, dense, stepped-growth, frosted faces. The darker purple color-zoning on the edges really adds beauty. You can see the shards of glassy, rubyjack sphalerite attached to the back of the cluster. Nearly pristine, with only two, barely noticeable, gently cleaved corners. Specimens of this quality came from older finds in the 1970s and 80s. The backlit photo highlights the gemmyness, pretty color-zoning and stepped-growth faces. Get a good one, while you can.
