Item Description
Texas is well-known as a fine mineral specimen waste land, but celestine is one of the few species that attractive pieces are collected from several different counties. This sharply formed, lustrous and translucent to transparent, color-zoned crystal has a colorless, translucent core surrounded by gem, pretty sky-blue on a bit of Cretaceous-aged limestone matrix. Excellent, highy representative material from the Austin area.
